Let’s talk about Kathryn Scott Design Studio for a moment. Or…let’s not. Because I’m absolutely speechless. Kathryn Scott is known globally for her luxurious, high-end designs and after browsing her vast portfolio, I’m fully enamored. Not only has she conquered such eye-popping projects as designing the Imperial Egg dinnerware pattern for Fabergé, but she’s also been called upon to design some of the most prominent spaces in the world, including the Jin Jiang Hotel in Shanghai and the home of the President of Tartarstan in Russia.
One my my absolute favorite spaces is the Parisian Townhouse, which was featured in Architectural Digest’s November 2009 issue. It’s so perfectly luxurious, yet understated and restrained. I adore how the ivory furniture is balanced with dark woods and artistic details. If I die and go to heaven, this is where I want to live.
